water:hub SEA and it’s members introduced to GIZ

On October 1., 2020, the water:hub South-East Asia and it’s members have been introduced to Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) in Hanoi. Mr. Frank Pogade met Mr. Tim McGrath, GIZ’s Program Manager for water-related projects , who was informed about the members’ range of services and experiences. Mr. McGrath mentioned numerous water-related projects coming up over the next 5 years. According to the current “Programmplanung” (program planning), focus will be laid on stormwater management and Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SUDS), as well as flood proofing. Mr. McGrath mentioned a need for external experts, respective calls for proposals are anticipated for early 2021.
