On June 18th, the Ministry of Finance issued Circular No. 44/2021/TT-BTC regulating the price range, principles and methods for determining the price of domestic clean water.
This Circular is issued to replace two documents including Circular No. 88/2012/TT-BTC issued by the Ministry of Finance on May 28, 2012 regulating the price range for domestic clean water consumption and Circular No. President No. 75/2012/TTLT-BTC-BXD-BNNPTNT issued by the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Construction and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, providing guidelines on principles, methods of determining and authority to decide on clean water consumption prices in urban areas, industrial zones and rural areas. The new circular will take effect from August 5, 2021.
